Protectamesh™ Rockshield HD mesh is easy to handle at low temperatures as it is flexible, is chemically inert ensuring that Rockshield HD will not rot in the ground, and the open mesh allows cathodic protection as the flow of water around the pipe is nor inhibited.

Protectamesh™ Rockshield HD Heavy Duty has a higher compression strength, greater impact resistance and tensile strength, with the benefit of being nearly half the weight of the competitive products that can offer the same thickness of 10mm.

• Mesh thickness of 10mm (0.40”)
• Mesh rolls supplied in widths 1.53m or 1.83m (5ft or 6ft)
• Can be supplied in rolls or in cut sheets (pads) for if required.

There are three main installation methods for Protectamesh™ Rockshield HD pipe protection mesh : ‘Longitudinal wrapping’ (fig.a), ‘Latitudinal wrapping’ (fig.b) or ‘Spiral wrapping’ (fig.c). Polypropylene strapping can be used to secure the mesh to the pipe as as shown below.
