Contaminet™ contaminated land geotextile mesh is an orange thermally bonded non-woven geotextile, bonded to a bright yellow coloured high density polyethylene plastic mesh. Contaminet™ geotextile mesh is highly visible and used to separate contaminated soils from clean soils on land remediation projects where contaminated land can cause an environmental issue. The Contaminet™ offers a high visibility barrier to future excavations of the contaminated land hazard beneath. The geotextile limits particle transmission between the clean new soil and the contaminated soils beneath. The geotextile will allow the transmission of water but act as a barrier to particles of larger size, i.e. rocks, stones and soil contaminants, eliminating physical contact. The laminated plastic mesh provides additional strength, increases puncture resistance, privides additional reinfocement and has excellent visibility properties.
